COMMUNITY SERVICE TO THE VICTIMS OF TAAL VOLACANO ERUPTION
CONCERN FOR THE COMMUNITY…
The eruption of the Taal Volcano greatly touched the feelings of the people in the cooperative world. The principle of cooperation prevails in helping the community. Here the sentiments of the APCC board of directors are not different where our own members based in Batangas near Taal were also affected even in the neighboring provinces.
With the joint force of management and the board of directors, preparations were made for the victims of the volcanic eruption. The APCC has chosen a small community in Latag Taal, Batangas to be the beneficiary. Personal hygiene kits were chosen by the team to distribute for their personal health needs. Under the leadership of Punong Barangay ng Latag, the kits were distributed to the other barangay officials. The people in their community are very grateful for the personal hygiene kits distributed by the APCC because according to them that is what they had a hard time buying when the volcano erupted.
For the residents, may your life be better and the volcano may continuously calm down. May the Lord guide you all!
